Hold down the reset button for 5 seconds. If you don’t have a reset button, hold down the number 9 key.

Typically 3 to 5 years. Battery life can be affected by amperage drain and temperature. We recommend replacing your battery every 5 years.

For smoke detectors, the Fire Department recommends that you replace your Smoke detectors max 10 years.

Depending on circumstances ( ie: is your siren blaring, or do you have a lot of smoke detectors and motion sensors on your system) or how old your battery is, this can dramatically affect the life of your battery during and outage. With minimum draw on your battery it can last up to 24 hours. The battery is a gel cell battery and will recharge itself once your power has been restored.

Customers have the option to pay automatically by check monthly thru their bank and make sure you give the bank your bill payer ID #. For credit cards Power Alarm can provide a monthly deduction.

Customers have the option to transfer their service to their new address. If a customer is not able to transfer their service, a letter requesting cancellation of service is required and their may be a buy out, depending on your contract.
